A Spoopy Halloweeb
! Amateur Recording/Musicianship Warning ! "A Spoopy Halloweeb" is the 2nd full length album I ever made, recorded shortly after "For Kids About to Shop" (which is very much lost to the misty planes of time). Consisting mostly of Parry Gripp covers (stick to your strenghts, eh?), this album perfectly encapsulates the musical stage I was in in 2021. And I say that like it was oh-so long ago, but since then I've recorded a lot more stuff & found my voice, learned how to use daws more efficiently, and increased the number of live shows I've played by about 500%. More experience and stuff like that has made my musical products so much better, that said, I am still proud of this and everytime I listen to these tracks I go "hey it's not as crappy as I remember"! About a year after the original completion of "A Spoopy Halloweeb", I proceded to act like it never existed and went ahead and made "A Spoopy Halloweeb Vol. 1", which is decidedly better in pretty much every way: production, instrument playing, originality as well. Pretty good way to cover up my past naïvety (plus I get two fun halloween albums under my belt! at least!!). However, I still like to have this album up on the site as a rememberance of the way it used to be because #1: to show how much growth I have had over the years and all that & #2 its vibe is pretty solid and fun and spooky. In conclusion, you could say that I am to "A Spoopy Halloweeb" as Kevin Barnes is to "The Bedside Drama: A Petite Tragedy". (for those who know! googol it if you don't)
